Under Stair Storage Ideas

Understair storage.  Yes, we all store things under there.  But does it look great?  Is it efficient?  Well, I've got a few ideas for you to get started on organizing that little and under used space in your home.  I love this idea.  (freshome)  Picture on left shows drawers closed.  It looks like a great paneled wall.  But when its open, look at all the storage!

 I love this clever little area for coats, umbrellas, bookbags and all those things you need when heading out the door.  Notice how all the knobs are different?  Love that idea!  Also, this is just the right size for kids.  I bet they love this little area to store things just for them. (BHG)

 Anyone like to read?  How about a cozy place like this to grab a book a do a little reading?  Add a blanket and a cup of tea and I could settle in for a while. (grubtoe)

 Need a nook for studying?  This idea gives you a quiet little place to read, write and focus on your work. (gharexpert) This wine storage under the stairs makes a beautiful addition to your space for entertaining.  Add a table and some chairs near by to create a wine tasting area. Ok, these are such cute ideas and I have to say we did something similar for our kids when they were little.  Although not as detailed as the two pictured below.  They loved that they had their own little space to play house.Happy Decorating!   Cheryl
